session 1: december 20, 2007
Azrael, the emissary of the Silver Prince, comes to An-Teng’s harbor to, first of all, learn Necromancy. As he went on to look for a local giude, he notices Obsidian because of her eyes which looked like his sister’s. Obsidian, agrees to be his guide to the Middle Lands and tricks the outcasts, Dormin and Heaven to go with her to be her human shield if the accompanying war ghosts of Azrael decides to eat her.
As they passed through the river pulled by yeddims, they came across a band of young dragon blooded. Obsidian, who have just regained her calm after being threatened by Azrael’s war ghosts due to her unnecessary inquiries, finds out, along with Drormin, Heaven that the band wants to “teach the young upstarts of Sapphire City a lesson.” Obsidian further finds out that this move could incite rebellion within the city.
As they passed the band, Azrael, in his usual seductive manner, tried to make Obsidian have an intimacy with him but failed.
In Sapphire City, Midday was drinking tea with a group of nobles and discussing about the group of young dragon bloods who would arrive an wreck havoc. With the influence of Still Wind’s charms, Midday thought the people important and sought to protect them by distracting the young Dragon Blooded who would come. She suggested succesfully that they spread rumors about Anathema somewhere else (uh…guys, I don’t remember what place was this) and thus beame the agreed course of action.
Arriving at Sapphire City, the emissary and his retinue meet with Deadly Dust Bull, his host, and toured them around the city. Coming across the bridge, the party encountered Princess Midday who was introduced by Bull to the emissary and vice versa. As they talked, a splash was heard an they found Obsidian chasing after a lilly pad, claiming it was important giving no explanations as to why. As Dormin helped her up and the lilly pad finally finding a home in a vase given by Bull, Midday’s sights fell on Heaven and a memory jogged at the back of her head. She tried to confirm it by conversing with her whih reveale a part of her true identity. With the danger fo her exposition, Midday ceased to pursue the topic further and went their separate ways.
